Unleash your students' creativity as they design a one-of-a-kind 365-day calendar using Google Slides! With a unique theme guiding their vision, students will create custom names for each month, invent fun day names, and even design special holidays. By exploring Google’s insert and format tools, they’ll bring their ideas to life in a way that reflects their imagination. Whether inspired by nature, fantasy, or creativity, this project will empower students to turn an ordinary year into an extraordinary artistic masterpiece.

This session will include information about one way to incorporate ITL standards and music standards into the classroom. Specifically, looking at composing as a code that musicians need to read to perform, the same way a programmer codes information for a computer to read and execute a function. People will walk away with a lesson plan that allows for students to collaborate, make music, think creatively, and see connections between computer science and the performing arts.
