In our digital age, storytelling has evolved beyond traditional mediums to encompass interactive experiences that blend narrative, math application, creativity, and technology. In few places do these elements blend as seamlessly as they do in video games. Our students love video games, and many are intrigued by how they can design their own. This hands-on workshop invites educators to embark on a journey into the world of game design, where students can unleash their imaginations and bring their stories to life. We will use Scratch, a user-friendly programming environment, to bring these forms of learning together, exploring techniques for creating sprites, backgrounds, animations, and sound effects that enhance the immersive quality of their games. Don’t be afraid to learn something new!
Be one of the first to experience the power of inquiry-based, hands-on learning through our new LEGO® Education Science solution!
